Questions people ask before they download
Does it work on iOS 26, and do I need to jailbreak?
Yes on 26.5.1, checked on an iPhone 17 Pro. And no, nothing goes on the phone at all.

Does it change my location for every app at once?
That is the whole idea. One pin, and the phone agrees with it.
A switch built into one app moves only that app, while the system, the weather and the maps carry on telling the truth around it, and that disagreement is far more noticeable than the location. Elsewhere sets the position where iOS itself keeps it, so there is nothing left to contradict.
Do I have to stay plugged in?

Is changing your location legal?
Setting the location on a phone you own is lawful. What you do with it is governed by the terms of the services you use.
Elsewhere is for testing location-aware software you are building, protecting your address on apps that broadcast it, and games and services whose terms permit it. It is not for defrauding anyone, for defeating a court-ordered monitor, or for tracking or deceiving another person. Those uses are refused in our acceptable-use policy and we would rather lose the sale.
